These terms apply to everyone who uses Playbook Room (playbookroom.com): the organizations that subscribe, and the administrators, board members and coaches they invite. By using the service you agree to them. If you use it on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are allowed to accept them for it.
The service
Playbook Room gives youth sports organizations a place to manage coaches, players, teams and seasons, track coach requirements, plan game-day lineups and share a coaching library of drills, practice plans and videos. We may improve, change or add to the service over time. If we remove something an organization relies on, we will give its administrators reasonable notice.
Accounts
- Accounts are created by invitation from an organization's administrators. An invitation sets your organization and role.
- Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
- You are responsible for what is done with your account.
- An organization's administrators can change your role or remove your access to that organization.
Your organization's data
Information your organization enters stays its own. We use it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Your organization is responsible for the information it enters, and in particular for having permission from parents or guardians to enter information about their children.
An organization can ask us for a copy of its information, or to delete it, when it stops using the service.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- enter information you have no right to use, or use the service to harass or harm anyone;
- try to see information belonging to another organization, or that your role doesn't allow;
- link videos or upload files that are unlawful, infringe someone's rights, or aren't suitable for a youth sports audience;
- interfere with the service, probe it for weaknesses without our written permission, or overload it;
- copy, resell or build a competing product from the service.
We may suspend access that breaks these rules, and will tell the organization why when we can.
Coaching content
Drills, practice plans, files and video links belong to whoever added them. By adding them you let the people you share them with, in your organization or through a public video page, view and use them for coaching. You confirm you have the right to share them.
Fees
Paid plans are billed as described on our Pricing page or in your organization's agreement with us. Prices may change at renewal; we will tell administrators in advance.
Text messages
Playbook Room texts only people who turn texts on in their notification preferences, for the notification types they choose: team and organization updates, never marketing. How many messages you get depends on your organization's activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop all texts, or HELP for help; you can also turn texts off in your notification preferences, or write to support@playbookroom.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy.
The demo
The demo club at /demo is shared by everyone who tries it and is reset every day. Don't enter real information there.
Availability and warranty
We work to keep Playbook Room available and correct, but the service is provided "as is." We don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Coaching decisions, safety requirements and compliance with your governing body remain your organization's responsibility; the requirement tracking in Playbook Room is a record-keeping aid, not a certification.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees your organization paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending
An organization can stop using Playbook Room at any time. We may end service to an organization that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Either way, we will give the organization a chance to get a copy of its information first.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about them or the service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell administrators before they take effect. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
